Honey citron and ginger tea often referred to as Yujacha in Korean cuisine is a popular herbal remedy and beverage that offers a range of health benefits.

Ingredients
  

  • Fresh ginger slice or root
  • Honey
  • Citron yuzu marmalade or fresh citron slices
  • Water

Instructions
 

  • Slice fresh ginger roots into thin slices.
  • Boil water in a pan or pot and add the ginger slices.
  • Allow the ginger to simmer in the hot water for about 10-15 minutes to extract its ginger flavor and the benefits of ginger tea.
  • Once the water has infused with ginger, remove the pot from heat and add a spoonful of honey and a dollop of citron marmalade or fresh citron slices.
  • Stir the ingredients until the honey and citron marmalade are fully dissolved.
  • Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.
